As a deaf individual, the use of gestures has helped me think strategically, visually, and spatially.  My long detour in technology, healthcare, and program/product management only fed my ideas for the future - how people can use tools to solve problems or reframe their situations. 

So in 2020, after many years of working in technology and program management, I took a sabbatical and went to the University of Texas in Austin to study design with a focus on health to incubate my ideas to take with me back to the world. This led me to frog Design leading multi-disciplinary teams of designers, strategists, and technologists for corporate clients using design thinking as our process for 2 years. After the company’s restructuring, I now work closely with Silohack leading design research and business strategy consulting for small organizational clients.

I look at the world through a designer's lens. I see stories in everyday life just waiting to be told and do my best to be the medium through which they reach the page.
